We heard gunfire today.

Outside of the barriers...

We're hiding in the safehouse right now..

We had our monthly service yesterday. It went perfectly!

Our master and head priest, Mr. Rivers, even attended!

He told us about how merciful our masters are, and the other usual, basic stuff.

I wouldn't of considered this worth blogging, though, if not for his interaction with James.

Peter saw James, and for a second, our unemotional Master twinged with a look that...

seemed...guilty? Or something?

James saw Peter too, but all he basically did was mumble "The Apocalypse is Three."

James & Meredith

They're...well, they're better.

They're eating and drinking.

We're trying to ask them what happened, but whenever we do that, they start yelling about something named Rapture or whatever. They keep screaming nonsense for a few minutes afterwards, forcing us to walk out of the room due to being in the danger of going deaf. They also keep talking about some things titled..Rabbit...Holes? I have no idea what's up with them.

One of our masters visited today.

It was the tall, slender one.

It was just checking on James and Meredith for some reason.

Wonder if they're its food. I hope they aren't.

Two Newcomers

They're here! C:

Their names are James and Meredith.

They don't look too healthy, though. And they won't talk to any of us.

They just keep staring at the wall, absent mindedly....

hope they get better!

Everyone is fine, like always. The storm came, and we were prepared.

We stayed nside the interior of the safehouse, and no one strayed outside.

Doing so would have been certain death. The outside was completely lit up like daytime, even though it was night. Thousands of birds circled and swayed above us, cawing and singing their death wishes. Roars of malice boomed outwards from the grey clouds above. Sparks of electricity engulfed the monsters.

They meant harm, but they also meant peace. I mean, they are our masters. They love us.

but that makes me think. Are they, well, they?

The birds....seem to think...collectively.

Ehh, I don't know. It's weird.

But the important thing is that everyone is safe!

Those two strangers aren't here yet though. Hope they're alright.

The Birds Attack At Dawn

It's almost that day again.

You see, every couple of weeks, everyone has to hide in a four story building out to the west of the compound. If we don't we...

we get taken.

We get taken by one of our masters.

We like to call them The Flock.

Always chirping, always cawing, always singing.

I don't know what happens if they take us.

Nobody has been caught outside during one of their raids before.

I don't ever want to know. They give me a bad feeling.

Bad feelings, bad mojo, bad deal; no deal.

I hope the two new arrivals don't get caught in the storm.

Berry Picking

Martha and I went out and picked berries today.

She almost walked out of the boundary between us and -them-.

Just a small update, really. Nothing much has happened.

We got a letter today from one of our Caretakers.

Two people may be joining us.

A man, and a woman.

I look forward to it! ^__^

The Hill With The Fool Atop of It

My friends and I gathered for a small bonfire.

There was Martha.

There was Tony.

There was Stewart.

There was Max.

There was Susan.

There was Temperance.

And finally, me, Cloudfriend.

We all sat under the cool shade of an apple tree, telling stories of our old lives.

Stewart was just some teenager before -it- happened.

Susan was Stewart's girl, and had been taken along for the ride, so to speak.

Max had been a nearly homeless musician.

Tony was a just some collegial student on the verge of suicide.

Martha was a stay at home wife to an abusive husband.

Temperance was no one, and yet everyone. Temperance came from  -here-.

Now, you want to know where I am from?

I don't even remember, or want to. I just want to lay in this field, without a care in the world.

Because if we stay in this wonderous place, harm will not come to us.

But if we leave...if any of us leave...

Well, anyway, now you know the gang.

Me and my friends live here in this field.

It's a fun life. We're naive to most problems in the world.

I guess you could call us "hippies."

Or whatever. I don't really like that word. C:

Someone left me this computer yesterday. Left a note to blog.

A-Okay with me. C: Not hurting anyone, I guess.

I'm a calm dude, y'see. Naturally, drugs or no drugs.

So, I'll tell you more later. I'll chill with you.

You'll chill with me. And my friends. I'll show you them soon.
